I started painting my bathroom. Abby said. Mom I need to help. I am an artist ya know. I replied with, yes I know. That Is why I am painting. I am covering up all your pretty art. That away the bathroom will be one color. I am covering up all your artistic work that was done with my lipstick, my eyeshadow, my eyeliner, the markers and the toothpaste. She kept wanting to help. I gave her a small paint brush and one small section of a wall that I could easily paint over. So she had at it. It did give us some time together. While we painted, we talked, She told me when she was done with helping me, because she does such a good job. She was going to paint her whole room all different colors. First we would have to find our way in there. But I had to say no. We would paint her room one color when we got to that part of the house. She then told me ( not wanting to admit she had made all the pretty art on my bathroom walls.) That her babies. (baby dolls)
got into my makeup and the markers and did all this on my walls. I said oh really. You had nothing to do with it being an artist and all? No I sure didnt she said. The phone rang. I said lets take a break and see who's calling. Oh mom you know is probably daddy. He can waite. We are busy. We have work to do. I am sure daddy would think different. In fact I know he would. I have not told him we were painting. Its a surprise for when he gets home.
