Hoarding: When Too Much is Truly Too Much

We’re all quite aware of what clutter is and how it can not only adversely affect how our household functions, but also how it can also have a negative impact on our health. But this isn’t the full extent of how bad things can actually get.…

Peacock & Lime, Wish Bracelet {Review}

Peacock & Lime bracelet creations are little wearable works of art, created in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  Each one is unique and crafted from artisan-made glass lampwork beads hand picked from various glass artists throughout Canada and the United States.  They are paired with either sterling silver, or silver-plated, clasps and findings. Whether you are looking for something formal, casual, or just plain fun – there will be a bracelet design to match!
-Excerpt taken on Peacock & Lime's blog

Kris, the master mind behind Peacock & Lime, gave me the opportunity of reviewing one of her pieces. She let me choose one and, to be honest, it took me a while to choose which one I wanted to review, but finally decided to go with the Karma Circle Wish Bracelet!

Ever since the bracelet arrived in the mail I haven't taken it off, except for when I shower. See, the bracelet is made with Irish linen which does not like to get wet, at all! Moisture makes it fade and age quickly.

I love things with a meaning. The bracelet is a 'wish bracelet' which means that, according to legend, it is believed to bring good luck to those who wear it. It is also said that when the bracelet naturally wears off and breaks your wish will come true!!

How long does it take for Irish linen to break? I already made my wish and I'm waiting for it to come true ;)

Ty just noticed that I've been wearing the bracelet for more than a week!! Hehehe. He likes it! He says it has a Abercrombie-ish look...

I LOVE my Peacock & Lime bracelet!! Once it breaks and my wish comes true I will save it in a safe place! I'll keep you guys posted on whether or not my wish comes true!

Disclosure: I received a karma wish bracelet for review purposes. No other form of compensation was received. The opinions stated are my own and were in no way influenced by Peacock & Lime or Kris her self.
