Last night when we went to bed, Rascal told me that he was going to surprise us but he wanted to visit with Santa, the elves, and reindeer.  During the wee hours of the morning, Rascal decided that he wanted to be like the “Elves and the Shoemaker” and do something so that we wouldn’t have to do it.  The next morning when we woke up, I was wondering why the dog wasn’t asleep in her bed.  This is so unlike Katie and I immediately knew something wasn’t right.
