For us, at The Succulent Wife, the idea of living succulently, means, in large part, experiencing new things and getting out of our comfort zone — once in a while. There’s much gratification when we learn how to do that and see that we’ve not only survived the experience but are, most likely, also enriched by it. And though good, healthy food is always part of the succulent life, pairing watermelon with cheese and onions was out of my comfort zone… Until I tried it in this Savory Watermelon & Feta Salad recipe, concocted especially for HumanaVitality and published in full on their Tumblr site.

This unexpected taste combo is delicious and refreshing and the juxtaposition of flavors and textures is fabulous. This is one you will definitely want to try and encourage your family & friends to try as well. C’mon, live on the edge. It’s totally worth it. And, in this case, it’s healthy too!
