Yesterday, I had an out-of-body experience.  Okay, not quite but close :- ). As I usually do, I went into Goodwill after dropping off a bag of clothing that "J" outgrew in 3 months. How is she growing so fast?  Anyway, I didn't see anything I wanted  and started toward the exit and that's when it happened.  There they were.  The red-backed soles of Christian Louboutin! Wait, am I seeing a pair of Christian Louboutin peep-toes in Goodwill (similar to the image)?! It was like hitting the lottery. This was perfect I thought, these shoes would look great with my black FAB Mom t-shirt and a nice pair of skinny jeans. I do not consider myself frivolous.  However,  I felt my heart speed-up and a halo suddenly appeared around this beautiful pair of gently-worn size 6 shoes. SIZE 6? WHAT?!  WHO WEARS A SIZE 6 SHOE?!  The halo quickly disappeared as I exited in my comfortable size 8 Aerosoles and headed to J.C. Penney to purchase more clothes for my rapidly growing 10 year old.  Who knows, when I return in 2 weeks (which is pretty much inevitable) I may find a gently-worn pair of Jimmy Choo booties :-)
