At the end of a long, hard day there's nothing like the sound of a running stream, or crashing waves upon the sand.

What is it about water? The sound is so.....refreshing......the taste is the same.......refreshing....

Jesus offers us living water (John 4:10). He IS the living water.

If the taste and sound of physical water can sooth our minds and hearts. Can you imagine how our souls can be refreshed with Jesus the living water?

He refreshes our thirsty souls if we just will come unto Him. Being still. "Drinking" in all He is and all He will always be.

Why is it that at the end of the day we search for peace? Calm? Refreshment?

Wouldn't our days be less stressful and enjoyable if we were "refreshed" throughout our days?

Knowing these things is entirely different than actually doing them. I know this to be true, as I'm sure you do too.

This day....this week.....I encourage  you (and I will be praying) that each of us would come before our Savior and be refreshed throughout our day.

Don't just wait for your soul to run dry ~ run to Him, reach out to Him ~ pray throughout your day for His living water to fill you ~ before you run dry!

Praying for refreshment from the Living Water this week for us all!
