One of the things that drives me insane about the psoriasis is what it's
doing to my scalp. My head is always dry and tight and when my hair is
down, it feels heavy. As if it's about to fall off by the root. When I
turn my head, and my hair sways, I feel like strands of my hair is being
pulled out. This is one of the reasons I've been keeping my hair in a
bun for so many months. I've try the dermatologist prescribed stuff,
Clobex Shampoo, 4 oz bottle, $220 bucks from duane reade. My insurance
didn't even cover it. Went through two bottles and it did NOTHING. I
then went on to buying natural herb shampoos and came across a tea tree
shampoo that felt nice when I washed but as soon as my hair dried, there
was no difference.
