How to Through A Larger Than Life Small Wedding on a Budget

This one is as simple as crowdfunding your honeymoon. It might sound strange at first, but do you really need another blender or set of dinner plates? Instead of having your guests purchase a bunch of things you’ll end up trying to return anyway, why not let them chip in for…

Social Media T.I.P.P. A BANNER AND A LOGO

It’s just a logo.  That is what I kept telling myself as I surfed through the net trying to get ideas.  Deciding on a logo and banner could very well been one of the hardest things I have done to date for my website.  Once again, it’s about the ”only child syndrome” I claim is the root of all my issues.

Whether my indecisiveness was due to having “only child syndrome” or simply an attention issue, it didn’t matter.  I still changed my color scheme twice a day.  Starting with a blank slate, I added hints of lilac, then switched to turquoise and red, back to lilac and even added a few other colors every so often.  This had to stop.  I could not continue changing the look and feel of my website.  We, my website and I,  want to be around for a very long time.  Hence, it was time to make a decision and get a logo.  Something people would associate my site with.

A few weeks ago, it was in the works.  My grand logo.  The poor designer sent me 5 proofs.  I chose one.  She sent me the final proof.  I switched the colors.  Still unsure how she came up with something I would like based on the original email I sent her describing what I wanted, she did.  Clearly, like me, she is genius ;)   Funny thing is, she is an Etsy find.  Her store… FreshLavenderDesigns.  Her style… Perfect for an indecisive woman like me.

My banner was just in time too!  I have been NOMINATED!  TOP 25TECH MOM BLOGGERS FOR 2012!!!  Take a moment and click on this link to vote for me!
