I have had many responses lately from readers and friends wanting to know some more safe and great products for babies. It's good news that the amount of healthy, safe, and organic products out there is increasing. New mommies don't have the energy and time to search for the best baby food, colic remedies, safe bottles, etc. They need to be able to love there baby in peace, knowing he/she is getting the very best.

When it comes to baby food, many pediatricians recommend starting solids around 6 months old. Many parents are very excited about this milestone and cannot wait to see their baby's reaction to peas, carrots, or apples. It's special watching your baby explore food for the first time, but what baby food should you choose?

An excellent baby food that I recommend is USDA organic Sprout.
Sprout Baby Food is made of organic ingredients, without any preservatives, sugar, starches or fillers. Sprout is an innovative organic food company co-founded by celebrity chef Tyler Florence from "The Food Network." They are yummy combinations of healthy ingredients stored in pouches to keep your little one growing strong and healthy.

I like that they are sold in pouches because it's so much easier to travel with and you don't have to worry about broken jars. They also don't need to be heated. If you want to warm them up you can just set the pouch in warm water. The baby food is resealable and BPA free, which is a big advantage.
The flavors are great! They truly taste homemade without having to go through the work. The baby carrots, apple and mango are fantastic. Actually, I make a lot of homemade soup and sometimes I add baby food, like their sweet potato and white beans, for added nutrition.
Sprout also sells many other practical and safe items such as baby bottles, stainless steel drinking bottles, lotions, balms, teas, and more

The following is a statement from Sprout baby food's website:

"In keeping with the authenticity we promote in our food and the products we sell, we will provide relevant information from moms as well as other trusted expert opinions from organizations like Healthy Child Healthy World, and professionals in pertinent
parenting fields such as health, nutrition, fitness and mindful living. We see ourselves as a part of a growing movement, and we partner with companies who share our commitment to children, the planet and the future. Healthy Child is one of our Foundation Partners in this effort, and 1% of's sales goes directly to Healthy Child.
Love your baby. Love the planet."

Healthy Child Healthy world is an informative and excellent website for parents. I am delighted that Sprout Baby donates to their plight of protecting babies and protecting our world.
