It's a difficult subject to discuss. Awhile ago, someone dear to me attempted it. I tried to be there--it wasn't easy. What I so badly wanted to tell them, was:"As bad as that day was where you wanted to leave this life, God still needed you here to live it.And the scars on your wrists aren't reminders of your mistake as much as they are proof of His mercy. And someday, God's gonna use you to share that proof with other hurting souls. And you are so precious in God's sight. And He (& I) love you. I raise this cause I wanted you to know that sometimes God uses us in hurting lives to speak to them. And sometimes? God uses us in hurting lives to pray for them. Either way, we are helping them. Do you have any thoughts on this? You may comment anonymously, if you want.
