Paul Bunyan is a larger-than-life folk hero lumberjack
who embodies frontier vitality. This larger than life legend reportedly "cut his teeth on a peavy pole and grew so fast that one week after being born, he had to wear his father's clothes."
His companion was a blue ox named Babe. Children love bigger than life, tall tales and Paul Bunyan definitely fits the bill.
