For a first time mom, you as an individual tend to worry about every aspect of becoming a mother. I know I did. Any first-time parent would be worry about any and every thing as a first time parent. I became pregnant while in college. Lucky for me, I was about to complete my degree so it wasn't so bad. In the beginning, I was nervous since because I wasn't sure of what I was doing. College senior and pregnant, not to mention other added stress, no bueno! But, I was determined to make it. Although I didn't have much to depend on, I had always made sure I took care of myself.

Advice #1: Make sure you take care of yourself, regardless of your situation.

There are times when situations arise, that is beyond your control. But you try to do your very best anyways. Through all the struggles that I faced during my pregnancy, I never thought I would have made it thus far in life. When faced with situations, sometimes you only thinking about that present moment. At least, I was. Everything for me was all about right now. I had to learn that in due time everything will fall into place. 

Advice #2: Don't rush anything, it will all fall into place in due time.

With that being said, I was able to get everything for my baby in time on time. I had obtained my bachelor's degree, and a surprise baby shower that gave me all my necessities for the first couple months for when the baby arrived. After the months of worry, it all fell into place. A day after the shower, my bouncing baby boy came.....And that was the beginning of motherhood....
