Theme Party Thursdays: Winston's Toy Story

Theme Party Thursdays: Winston's Toy Story

Who says you can't meet sincerely, fun, like-minded souls on Facebook? Definitely not TBWL. A friend told a friend about TBWL and know we all get to share and ohhh & awe over a darling Toy Story theme party. Meet Winston. And his mama, Lauren (also a self-confessed fan of Martha Stewart).

Lauren shares in on the special day and her little one:
Winston, aka "W", is a beautiful, blond haired, blue eyed dimpled sweet little 3 year old. So, why not a party at the W Hotel [TBWL Editorial note: a swanky boutique hotel located in the heart of Scottsdale] for the W?

Close friends and family enjoyed in the fun. The ceilings were filled with 450 balloons ( a birthday tradition for the little guy)--a special guest appearance of BUZZ LIGHTYEAR (ask me how I pulled that one off the opening weekend of toy story), a special toddler birthday cake shaped HUGE bounce house (doesn't let them bounce so high so that they get scared), and the most INCREDIBLE face painting artist and balloon artist. The adults were as mesmerized as the kids...

There were handmade party favors with lollipops from Dylan's Candy Bar in NYC, our dogs (who had Toy Story costumes) and the most insane red velvet cake EVER!!!!!! Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted equally delicious! The air was filled with laughter and good wishes, the adults munched on sammies and homemade cajun potato chips, the kids had dinosaur shaped chicken fingers and fruit cut into shapes, organic juice boxes, and veggies.

I wanted an ice sculpture--but I drew the line [TBWL Editorial note: I LOVE that Lauren admits it! :-) How cute is that and how fan-of-Martha-Stewart?!]. BEST PARTY EVER! Every single person enjoyed themselves. Even the lil 1 year olds! ~
