Baby Showers: The Next Big Thing

Like so many modern celebrations, Baby Showers have arrived in the UK from North America. It’s a real tradition over there and, like High School Proms, Halloween and Black Friday, one of those exciting social events that is catching on big time over here.

OUR DAILY PINS

** Much to my surprise, the New Year's Day puker turned out to be neither my husband nor me, but rather, my daughter.

** There's just never enough sleep to go around.

** An overnight getaway would be cheaper than taking three kids to the movies.

** My son's decided to Gangnam Style his way throughout the day, all day, every day.

** We're going to be hearing about Kim and Kanye's damn bun in the oven for WAY longer than I care to hear about it.

** The bedtime process keeps getting longer and longer while my patience keeps getting thinner and thinner.

** Clearly, we can't even GIVE our freaking guinea pig away.

** Everyone was right -- "Downton AbbeyIS highly addictive.  LOVE!

** My kids think "5 more minutes" really means "20 MILLION more minutes".

**  And unfortunately, "Because I said so" seems to have outrun its course.

** School starts in 68 hours and 40 minutes.  Not that I'm keeping track or anything.

** Despite what I might think, God does not give me more than I can handle.

SO WHAT DID YOU LEARN THIS WEEK???? >>
