If you feel like us, you know how hard it is to navigate all of the kids' apps out there. It seems to us mere laypeople like there are thousands of apps to choose from. It's a hit and miss game. And, if you want your children to learn from apps in the process it is even harder. One thing is sure, there is a lot of competition to grab the attention of the hundreds of millions of techie kids who are perpetually glued to their phones and tablets.
We are extremely excited to tell you about Kiddopia from Paper Boat Apps, an app that both entertains and educates. Kiddopia offers children aged 1 -7 a vast array of simulated games that teach the alphabet, math, as well as real-life, augmented scenarios like baking, learning from community heroes, and having fun in various scenarios like going to the beach or being on a farm.
One of the best aspects of the Kiddopia app is there is so much to explore for children that it will keep them routinely riveted. And, content is updated regularly so your kids won't get bored. Young children are extremely intuitive with tech so they will be able to navigate Kiddopia with ease. The "home" screen is easily placed on the top left screen and all of the vibrant content is easily navigable.
What we love best about Kiddopia is in one app you have so many different apps inside that you don't have to download many apps to achieve the same goal. What you won't find is content that they will simply view. So, for example, Kiddopia doesn't have episodes to view. What you will find is interactive content that your children can engage with and learn from.
Putting Kiddopia to the Test
We had our kids test Kiddopia and they were engaged for quite some time not only at home but also when traveling to the grocery store and doing errands around town. Pixie Dust Spa and Salon was a big hit as well Junior Chef's Cafe. Can you tell we have girls?
To test out more content Kiddopia allows you to start a free trial. If you and your children are happy with the content you can buy either monthly ($4.99) or yearly subscriptions ($2.92 per month). You can also buy individual sections of Kiddopia that your children like the most. Those range in price. And, for lifetime access the cost is $44.99. We aren't used to making such a large purchase in an app, but the lifetime app is actually the smartest option so you don't have to worry about continuing to pay for additional content.
We appreciate that Paper Boat Apps utilizes the expertise of teachers to create an educational experience for children. At their fingertips, your children will learn the following:
Plus for Parents
As aforementioned, what we love the most is you can find great content for your children in one app without having to download a ton of them crowding up your phone or taking a ton of space. This is important especially if you allow your young children to use your phone or tablet and they don't have their own.
