Transcending: Words on Women and Strength by Kelly Corrigan: from passions & soapboxes blog

Author Kelly Corrigan wrote this moving essay about women's remarkable capacity to support each other, to laugh together, and to endure. This actually brought me to tears and makes me feel so proud of my gender. I also feel sorry for the men in our lives because they miss out on so much by not having this kind of support system. If you haven't seen this before please take the time to watch it now. Women are truly special and I raised 3 great ones, this is for them. I only wish I had written it. I think I will have to buy her book...hope they have a kindle edition.
