For nine years I spent most of my days surrounded by other people's children- teaching them to love to read and write (or at least not hate it). For nine years I desperately tried to balance my school room hat and my mama hat. Things were lost in the mix. Life was good, but always fast paced- too fast. 

There were external things going on too- issues I could no longer overlook. After a year of deliberation, I left my job to stay at home, homeschool our preschool age daughter, and find that balance and time that was impossible to have with our past routine. 

Change, however wanted, is not easy...

I'm in transition- learning- trying to remember to be kind- to myself.
