orgive the lag in posts this past week. Blake, Bobby, and I have been busy prepping for Blake's Halloween Costume Party. Seriously, I get goosebumps when I start to plan a party. As I've written before, my sister and I have been planning elaborate theme parties with poster board and construction paper ever since we could use markers. In a sense, having parties and entertaining is just another way to keep the sweet memories of my parents vibrant.

So with Halloween approaching, I knew a little costume party was in order for Blake and her little crew. I could not have done it without the help of one awesome hub who ran errands, picked up balloons and kept Blake happy and at play while mama cooked and baked. xo

I was a Stepford Wife and Blake was my perfect little cupcake :-)

What makes my heart most happy, is seeing all the little ones play with one another. I must admit, every year around the Holidays, my heart aches. I know it is ten years of not having my parents around... but a decade can't stop you from missing parents who loved the Holiday season so much and all the memories that went with this time of year. So I am eternally grateful for my two B's, my sister, in-laws and circle of families that surrounded us yesterday. Love you all and your sweet families! Thank you beyond words for making this stage of life even sweeter than I could ever imagine!
