Yum, even though it is a few days before Christmas, the family is still hungry even though we Mom's may not want to cook or bake one more thing. Let me tell you about a couple of recipes I have been making that are delicious, easy and maybe (I said may be remember), you may have leftovers.
One whole chicken
Three jars Ragu or favorite spaghetti sauce
carrots, two large onions chopped, celery
One box elbow macaroni
salt, garlic, favorite spices (Italian)
Loaf Italian Bread
Put your washed chicken in a pot, pour water to cover the chicken and a bit more, pour your spaghetti sauce in, cut up your carrots, onions and celery, toss into the water. Cook till boil and turn down a bit till the chicken has all the pink gone. Remove bones and skin, add spices. Cook macaroni and add to soup. Add any additional spices that you like for taste. Feeds six people.

One pound ground turkey
Two cans tomatoe juice or V8
Two boxes elbows
Worcestershire sauce
Onion, green or red pepper, garlic
Italian Bread
Put oil in large pan or skillet, heat it, add elbow macaroni, onion, garlic, pepper, cook till golden and keep stirring. Remove from pan and add turkey. Brown up the turkey. Sometimes I just add the turkey to the golden elbows. After turkey is browned, add the cans of tomatoe juice, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and let the juice evaporate and cook till the elbows are softened.
Enjoy! Like American chop suey (I am from the East Coast)

Black Friday – it’s Not Just About Fashion

Fashion, eh? It comes and goes, then comes back around again, at once fleeting and eternal. A style is in one month and then is never heard of again – until it is heard of again, of course.
