I hate Halloween. It has not been a holiday that I enjoy as long as I can remember, for various reasons.  I try to get into it, but can’t.
My kids don’t eat a lot of candy.  We could just go to my mom and dad’s house and we’d be set for the amount of candy that they would eat (my parents fill their bucket).

I always disliked when the teachers who have you plan two weeks ahead of time for the party, buy your contribution for 30 kids and then tell you they were cancelling because one child was bad. Or, when they confirm there would be no Halloween party and the night before send home a letter requesting you contribute a specific thing. Grrr.
