OUR DAILY PINS

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted any notes from the garden but not to worry, things are greening up just fine!

Okay, so I might have made a teensy mistake with the Miracle Gro…I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to spray the leaves!  I was completely distraught when all of my plants started withering away and I didn’t know what to do!  Grasping at straws I switched back to plain water, stuck them all back in their greenhouse and things are finally starting to look up!  I was just able to transplant the parsley into bigger containers today because it’s gotten too tall for the little greenhouse :)   Yes, once again, I am SO proud!  Seriously, would you look at that!

After putting everything back on its sunny windowsill Miss Lily started eyeballing it.  I think she wanted to get back at me for spraying her with the water bottle when I had everything out on the table and she was nosing around in my dirt….What?  She’s not supposed to be on the table for starters and could you imagine the mess she’d make if she knocked any of it over?!?  Not to mention the heartbreak I would feel at the loss of my plants….Sad, I know, I think I care more for the well-being of the plants than I do for the cat right now, lol.  Look at this face!  We were having a staring contest over by the windowsill garden, me with the spray bottle in my hand saying “Don’t you even think about it” and her just giving me this look, lol.

Lily wants to get into the garden

If you have a cat and have ever started a garden indoors you know that look!  Eventually she backed down and I gloated in my success ;)

I really wish the weather would warm back up so I could let some of these babies outside but it’s been too chilly for these fragile little plants.  I will just have to vigilantly stand guard so Miss Lily won’t get into them!

I hope no one else accidentally *almost* killed their garden!  How are your plants doing?  Is the garden greening up yet?
