No Candy: Skip the candy for Valentine’s Day. Many kids still have chocolate left over from Christmas, and the Easter Bunny is just around the corner!

No Drugstores: Take the time to find something unique and memorable for your child. Find a gift that celebrates their favorite hobbies, or choose a family gift that all of you will love.

Also – be sure to send Valentine’s Day cards to the other children in your life, like cousins, nieces, and nephews. Nothing beats receiving a card in the mail, and extra I Love You’s from someone out of town.
