Video Entertainment for Kids That Teaches and Delights

Let’s face it, in today’s digital climate children are growing up with digital media all around them. When the increased use of technology for kids first started decades ago, there was a lot of apprehensions expressed by parents, teachers, and physicians about how it would affect small minds. Now that the research is in, we can confidently say that the early apprehension was a little off-base. While it is important to limit the amount of time children as young as eighteen months watch digital entertainment it is believed across the board that kids’ media can stimulate minds and educate at the same time. In fact, the American Association of Pediatrics announced new recommendations last year regarding screen time for children. Their recommendation is, above all else, that parents set up a useful media plan for children.

For children between the ages of 2 -5 limit their screen time to an hour a day of high-quality digital programming such as Kiddo.TV. Parents should also watch the programming with them. And, for children over the age of six, parents should place reasonable limits on their media use. For all ages, make sure that there are set times throughout the day that children are away from media entertainment in order to allow them to think, play, do homework and sleep.

One of the most useful kids’ media tools that enrich young minds is KiddoTV, an edutainment company that helps children learn basic cognitive skills and other essential skills like reading and counting.

Using an adorable alien character, Stroosh, who has found a brand-new family on earth, KiddoTV teaches children valuable lessons about how things work as Stroosh learns himself. The 30-episode series is sure to delight and teach children in a fun way. KiddoTV also provides animated videos about everything from bedtime stories to nursery rhymes that your children can engage, learn, and repeat themselves.

One of the great things about KiddoTV is there is no shortage of great videos for your children to watch. And since the videos are located on Youtube you can easily subscribe and also create playlists for your children based on the amount of time you would like your children to watch KiddoTV edutainment each day. KiddoTV easily provides edutainment for after-school hours as well as during the summer when little minds still need to learn and be stimulated.

Another perk of KiddoTV is it is free. In today’s media landscape most of the edutainment we grew up on is either outdated, on cable or on paid subscription plans. KiddoTV provides hours of videos and games on Youtube for your kids to enjoy.
