What is the difference between Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Volbella?

What is the difference between Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Volbella?

Skin care is a field which is evolving on a regular basis and the best example is about the latest advances which were made by the Juvederm family. There are many Juvederm options besides the highly successful Juvederm ultra treatment that comes with its specific benefits. There are two treatments known as Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Volbella.  These are two different types and they are different from one another leading to different results.

Juvederm Voluma

This is a filler that has been approved by the FDA to work on the cheek area. It is made using the proprietary Vycross technology. Juvederm is a smooth gel and it follows easily and consistently. It comes with better lift capacity that helps in correcting the volume loss in your cheeks which is the result of aging.

Voluma contains hyaluronic acid which is used in Juvederm Ultra. However, it has a denser formula which is designed to work on a tough area such as your cheeks. It also contains some lidocaine and it helps in numbing the area during treatment. Treatment is painless and simple with some limited tenderness and swelling as its side effects which may last for some weeks. When it is compared to the results that last two years, these side effects are not that important. People may inject Voluma in the temples as well to achieve restoration purpose only.

Juvederm Volbella

Where Voluma is a denser and thicker version of the original product, then Volbella is the opposite. It is a gentle and thin filler that has been designed for lip contour and volume.  It does not cause too much swelling compared to other lip fillers and it has a natural look and feel that starts at once after the treatment. It can last over one year with using just one single treatment.

Volbella is also made using hyaluronic acid with the help of the Vycross technology.  It was designed so that it can fill the small lines which may form over or below the lips. It helps the patient to achieve natural and subtle results.

You may also consider getting Juvederm ultra which is ideal for filling the hollow and lines found on the face and it can also be used for lip enhancement.
