A normal hospital stay for a c-section delivery is 3 to 4 days depending on your hospital’s policy, doctor, your health, and your babies health. Once the hospital discharges you, it is important that you have help once you get home so that you can rest as much as possible. I remember when they were getting ready to discharge me from the hospital that my doctor gave me prescriptions for my pain medication before I was actually discharged. My husband was very smart and went to the pharmacy before we left the hospital. He was able to get my prescription filled which allowed us to go straight home from the hospital.
