Safety Tips to Prevent Your Dream Pool from Becoming a Nightmare

Whether it’s a cosy hot tub, a full-sized pool or something in between, having a private place to take a dip at home is one of life’s greatest luxuries. There is little that compares to shrugging off the day’s troubles with a few relaxing laps or a good book and the gentle massage of…

OUR DAILY PINS

Advertisements

You know, the one that magically cleans up all the messes in the house and makes the room put back in order like Mary Poppins?!  Oh, that’s right, mommy lives with three leprechauns who on a daily basis turn things upside down, pee in the toilet without flushing and generally leave huge messes in their wake!
Yesterday was St. Patty’s day and we did have a celebration, albeit not as extensive as mommy usually does.  We’re in the midst of a major move and THAT little adventure I’ll blog about in the coming days.
Here’s what I learned about little leprechauns:
1)      When you are moving over St. Patty’s day weekend, make sure the leprechaun visits BOTH of your houses.  Otherwise your middle child MAY come home and say “the leprechaun didn’t visit our house, he doesn’t know we’re moving”.  To this you might find yourself saying “yes, but he did visit, see, he took our kitchen table and your bed and all your clothes; I guess we’ll just have to see if he visited the other house”.  SH*T!  I did the best I could to remember to do something and I completely forgot to leave little treasures at the old house.  D@MNIT!
2)      When your leprechaun pees in the toilet and he also leaves behind a little leprechaun dust (aka green sprinkles) around the toilet seat, make sure you clean off the toilet seat BEFORE your friend’s child decides to pee in the toilet; otherwise, they may have a green @$&.  We caught that one just in time to save BFF Molly’s son that fate!  J
I hope your leprechaun adventures were memorable too.  As I said, in the coming days I’ll chronicle our adventures of moving, and let me just be clear that I could not possibly have made any of this sh*t up that has happened to us in the last 48 hours!!
