Ok, so I know I just heated up a plate of food in the microwave. I remember grabbing my plate and my glass of water and walking towards the office so I could eat while doing a little work on the computer. I remember taking that first bite, but damn...where did the rest of my food go?
This must be that moment of self awareness I've been hearing about. The time when I realize I seriously have a problem. I eat way too fast! If I didn't see a few crumbs left on the plate, I wouldn't have even remembered what I just ate. My gosh!
I have never been one to make a New Years resolution, so I will make a "New Me" resolution and say I promise to start taking my time while eating and allow myself the opportunity to enjoy each bite. This way, I'll have a chance to feel full and possibly lose those inches I've been wanting to get rid of for years!
This is a good plan. Yep! I can feel it, it's good.
