Safety Tips to Prevent Your Dream Pool from Becoming a Nightmare

Whether it’s a cosy hot tub, a full-sized pool or something in between, having a private place to take a dip at home is one of life’s greatest luxuries. There is little that compares to shrugging off the day’s troubles with a few relaxing laps or a good book and the gentle massage of…

Why is it ok for some to speak their mind but not others?

This is related to the Duck Dynasty controversy that's going on. I totally agree with the fact that it was a bad decision for A&E to fire Phil over his religious beliefs. Everyone is entitled to their opinion (isn't that the great thing about being American) but it makes me wonder, why is it ok for someone like Phil whom America loves to speak his mind but not ok for others?  Would this whole situation be different if say Spencer Pratt said what Phil said? I'm pretty sure it would be. It would be ok if his network dropped him (if he had a job) and everyone would be saying how terrible of a person he was.

I've seen this same thing on my Facebook page. A girl that has lots of friends and is pretty popular as far as Facebook goes says something about something she believes in and its totally fine. Then attacks someone else for expressing their beliefs! And I'm not just talking about being rude I'm talking about slaughtering the other girl and making her feel like she is wrong for her religious beliefs. Being so ugly that she felt that she needed to deactivate her Facebook. Ok I know what some are saying. She shouldn't let it get to her, but the truth is that it does get to you sometimes. It hurts and people just don't realize the power that their words have. And the girl that got all the back lash for her opinion was not the popular girl or the outgoing girl. She's the regular girl. Had she been the popular and well liked girl would her opinion not been so harshly judged?

Just wondering? I totally support anyone who wants to speak their mind as long as it is in a respectful way. Remember we all just want to be heard, respected and loved.

When freedom of speech applies only to a certain group, it is no longer freedom. Eventually, it will be taken away from all groups, not just some, unless we stand up.
