So I found a new way to stick to that New Years Resolution to "actually do" (not just think about doing) exercise.  Get your kid into it!  If your kid is anything like mine, she WON'T take No for an answer.  She's worse than a personal trainer, them you can hide from lol.

So one day she saw my yoga supplies (sitting in a corner collecting dust) and asked  "what are these mommy". Naturally I explained their purpose and took them out for her to see.   Needless to say she found it fascinating.  I knew my videos were a little to... booooring, so I was told by a friend to check out these adorable fun flash cards - Yoga Pretzels.   They are awesome!  We sit and do the poses together, it shows you step by step how to do them along with a brief description.  There is the single person poses as well as a few partner poses to do together.  I got her her own mat and bag so she was all set.  Now randomly she yanks them out and yells: " IT'S YOGA TIME MOMMY!" Followed by "take your socks off and sit down on your mat mommy". Ahhh gotta love 'em!  Honestly I'm glad she's into it, it gives us something fun to do together, that is good for us.
