Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Sorry Jacqueline - I wanted to write more but was running out the door when I saw your message. Currently, I am working as an independent contractor in the Virtual Assistance business. I just found out about this about 3 months ago, and I have increased my earnings 300%. Now, that might not happen for everyone - but, I did invest in some training and other things that have helped me increase my skill set quickly.
I have also found some great WAH opportunities through www.HireMyMom.com and have met some wonderful people.
Lastly, I am involved with www.sendoutcards.com. It is a great business that helps people send out cards, maintain relationships (both personal and professional), and send gifts. The quality is first rate, and the gifts you can send are fantastic! If you have any interest in this, let me know and I can give you access to my account to send a free card to your hubby. That way you can see the quality and experience the process for yourself.
Anyway, I have gone on long enough. But, I am here to help you if you want. I will also be launching my blog soon: www.wahmbahm.com which will be directed at helping SAHM and SAHD find WAH opportunities, discuss challenges, managing expectations, etc. It has taken me the better part of 1 year to get to where I am now. I just want to help people get started on their own. There is so much info out there, and a lot of it is "bad" info. I just want to share my experience to hopefully help someone else.
I am so looking forward to getting to know you! I am actually on the Virtual Event Specialist call now...
Take care and stay positive! You are a Mom, you will find a way to make this all work! :)
Hi Jacqueline! I will write you more later, but wanted to send you the link in case you were interested in attending today's free call. There are over 300 people registered, so if you can make it, sign in a little early. If not the recording is always available.
((Hugs!)) I married with four children, work full time, own a small business and am always running until I'm on E! I wish I cold be a SAHM and be in my PJ's until noon. I do that on Saturdays & Sundays. Lol! It will get better. I was on maternity leave for 12 weeks and about lost it because I'm not used to sitting still for long periods of time! So I can relate!
Ask any pregnant woman and she will tell you that now she’s expecting what once smelled delicious - like roasting coffee beans for example, has suddenly become the one smell that induces an overwhelming feeling of nausea. For some women the pregnant nose goes into smell overdrive with incredible detection ability, in fact increased smell sensitivity can save lives. Just ask your local gas company – pregnant…
