Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
I understand missing the military as well. We've been out about 8 years. If you have those sites that you've joined I sure would like them. I'll have to give you my address (when I get one) so when you're up my way we can have lunch and get to know one another.
Thanks for the comment. We are moving on the 26th. He'll be home from Iraq (contractor) and then we'll make the move. We are having someone do it for us. We plan on settling in St. Augustine area. There are a lot of jobs in that area and he's been offered a few already. So this move is for him, to get him home from Iraq. I have 2 kids. One is 19 and will be in basic training on Aug 3, and a daughter 15. She's not happy about the move but this is the best time. The school up here is getting dirty (people wise, no morals). So she's so so about it. I just say you'll be the new hot girl in school. So we'll see. I'm just ready to move and get down there and start our next phase of life. What did your husband do? Mine was in the infantry till he made SGM and then we stayed at the school (Sergeant Majors Academy) in Ft. Bliss till he retired. It's nice getting to know another military wife. I haven't see any sites for military or retired military wives. Do you know of any?
