Hehe! Too funny! I host my au pair (and actually work for) EF's au pair program. I'd totally forgotten EF does student exchanges too! (mommy brain). I love love love hosting au pairs - basically, they help with my kids in exchange for room, board and a stipend. We've had 4 amazing au pairs and are about to welcome our 5th the end of July.
I'm looking forward to checking out your blog! As of January I'm a new mom and new blogger.... Always looking to learn more... :) Feel free to stop by my blog too, if you're interested: www.themommyhoodmemos.com
Hehe. Actually, yes! I have chopsticks I get from the local chinese restaurant for my kids - sometimes I can get them to try new foods if I bring out the chopsticks. Don't know why. My kids are bananas. Hey - I saw you are hosting an exchange student - so neat! We really want to do that.(We host an au pair right now, but that is a little different) Did you go through a student echange company?
