Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
I have a few questions for you . . .
Do you live in Colorado? Your pictures look like it! We used to live in Fort Collins and really hope that we move back to Colorado . . . maybe soon!
And . . . I like the looks and simplicity of your blog. Did you design it yourself? Thanks!
Oh, Yea, I am so glad you use cloth diapers! I am hooked and try to convert everyone to cloth.
And I will post some produce. I am glad that you said something! I had forgotten to follow up with that!
Have a great day!
OK . . . it still won't show up . . . but to find my first post on it, go to www.granolamom4god.com and then on the left you will see a sidebar on going organic cheaply--click on Build a garden! Thanks!
Thanks for leaving me a comment. I love Square Foot Gardening! You can check out Mel Barthalomew's website, www.squarefootgardening.com for more info, or check out my blog. I believe I have done two or three posts on it . . .
We live in subdivision, so hauling equiptment in to till a normal garden just isnt doable. We have 4 square foot gardens and then a triangle that has strawberries. But the garden is divided up into 16 squares. Each square can be a different plant, with multiple plantings. For example, lettuce can have 4 heads to a square and tomato plants only have one plant/square plus you can vine the tomato plant. Other great things about square foot gardening, you create your own compost mix (described in the book), you can get to your garden without STEPPING into your garden, little to no weeding, kid friendly, and a huge yield. I love it! Hope that helps!
Thank you for the welcome:) I am glad you like my barrettes. How old is your daughter? I used to have that problem with mine when she was very young. Once she could understand what I was telling her, I told her if she did not let me do her hair she could not go out. It worked; she let me do it and did not touch it. Now she loves it and I have to use the hair blower and hair product in her hair every morning:)
