Hi from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York. My blog offers light, witty articles on every topic imaginable and was created over a year ago. I truly designed my blog simply for the joy of sharing info. and never expected it to take off the way it has. I also never thought of adding a Followers section until now and because of all the awesome blogs listed here, I'd love to offer my readers the opportunity of connecting with you as well. So please ... come on over and see me some time. Have a great week.
I completely understand!! I had a hard time with the cio at first, too. I ended up doing my own modified version. It's just so hard to listen to it! As I think it should be! I would definitely say that if he's waking up & taking full feedings 3 times at night, then he's definitely having a growth spurt! My daughter is such a little chunker, so I feel like she reached a point where her weight just changed everything. She didn't need to eat as much at night and she started stretching her feedings during the day without me even having to do anything. I'd try to feed her & she'd be uninterested for another 30 minutes or so.
I also just read the Baby Whisperer books a couple weeks ago & I wish I'd read them when I was pregnant! They would've been so helpful! I found myself reading several things, including Babywise & then finding the method that worked for us. I love a lot of things in Babywise, but I'm not a strict follower of it. You gotta find your own groove.
That is nice..my friend lives somewhere in sydney... I have a friend studying in Tasmania and some relatives all around Australia :)
Wish I could see Australia one day... I remembered trying to convince my parents to let me go there to study...
Thanks for the welcome!! sleep training is definitely an ongoing practice in our house! She's been sleeping through the night 7:30pm to 7:30am since 12 weeks old - for the most part - but with developmental milestones, growth spurts or teething, she gets a little mixed up. Just a day in the life of a mom, I guess! But since she normally sleeps so good, I don't mind the periods now where she needs some extra attention during the night! I love your blog! I totally relate to some of your posts! Can't wait to read more!
Adriel, I read quite a bit of your blog, you are a beautiful Momma and it looks like you are embrassing every minute of it. There is nothing like that first baby. It looks like you are enjoying every moment.....enjoy!
Hi Adriel. Thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to getting to know you a bit better. Where in Australia are you from? My DH and I took our 2nd honeymoon to Australia, NZ & Fiji and one of my dear mommy friends lived in Australia for a while. Looking forward to checking out your blog.

Hi there, thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I do have my business in a little town called, "FUNKSTOWN." Believe, it or not it is quite a historial town as a battle during the Civil war was fought there. It's very small town, population may be 5,000. It's very cozy and quaint, and the lady that is renting me my office, runs a beauty shop right by me. I am licensed (cosmetologist) so I can do facials for clients, and I do have a table set up just for that. I also do make overs. And, now since I've acquired my Wedding/Event Planner certificate I also hope to import possibly some Wedding invitations or some other gift idea's. One step at a time. I looked at you blog, you must be a new mom. Enjoy your child or children. They are our greatest blessings of all. Motherhood is great!
If I can assist you with any Avon products, please contact me.
