For solids...the hospital gave me a calendar when I had my baby which showed me when to start feeding and how much and how often. I started baby rice cereal first at 6 months old. After a week I started adding vegetables. One new veggie every week. That way if there is an allergic reaction then I know what caused it. Then I added other cereals like baby oat cereal, and also fruit. At around 9 months old I started to chop up food, like small pieces of cooked apple. or small pieces of ripe banana...I also started giving a sippie cup with water at 6 months old. By the time my babies were around 9 months old I was able to get rid of the bottles completely. They were drinking formula from the sipper cup instead of the bottle. Hope that helps!
Hey welcome to MBC I am also new here and just going around checking out other mom's blogs! I look forward to reading yours and if you'd like you can check out mine as well.

I look forward to reading your blog. A little about me: I'm the mother of a VERY busy and very interesting toddler. I have a serious passion for cooking, reading, and Photoshop, all while trying to keep Lil' Man from destroying my house. I just relaunched my blog, and I'll be having my first giveaway soon! Please, feel free to stop by. I'd love to have you as a follower!
