Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
When I got pregnant of my triplets I've being workging working for an american company for 6 years in São Paulo. I was a Business and System Analyst. When I quit my job and moved, after a while the same company invited me to work for them again, this time as a contractor. When I say home office is because I work for them from my home. I did so many thinks, including technical translation. Sometime, when they didn't have work for me I had to look for something else...that's when I started to work as a translator for other companies.
Now, that I came back to São Paulo the old company asked me to work with them again. That's what I do now. Right now I am a Business consultant.
I would like to translate books, but didn't have a chance yet...
Your story is great...
Hi Jody. Thanks.
Yes, after I had my triplets was very diffucult for me to work. I quit my job for a while and we moved from Sao Paulo to the south of Brazil to raise our kids in a less crowded city. It was great for some years. I started to work home office and it was hard as well, but need the money and was grateful to be always very close to my kids. But my husband had an offer to work in a great company in Sao Paulo again and we moved back to the big city.
Now I work part time home office, still for the same company, but really would like to quit and dedicate myself to other things. While this is not economic possible here I am...
It will be great to exchange experience!
My triplets will be 7 next june. Two boys and one girl.
And what about yours?
Your house must be a continuous party! 6 children! I have only 3..(laughs).
Congratulations.. A house full of kids is a house full of happiness. It must be great. I believe the older kids helped you...Did they?
I have a blog and a site, but unfortunally I don't have time to translate all my texts from Portuguese to English!
Thank you for inviting me to be your friend.
