Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.

I'm following you now. Isn't it hard to spend money on yourself sometimes? I find that moms are always taking their own gift cards and getting something for the kids. Love the boots! I'll be taking my birthday gift cards to finish work on my master bathroom.
Thank you so much. I was originally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 99 but as my illnesses have progressed and new symptoms have presented they are now looking at Autoimmune or Ms. I am doing ok I had a long day yesterday with several eye specialists, but they are all very good Physicians who are determined to find the root cause. I have a woderful support system so I know that no matter what I will be ok.
Welcome, Stephanie. I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but the word verification wouldn't show in the box. Not sure if it's my issue or the gadget on your blog. But here's what I wrote -
Hi Stephanie. Following you from MBC. I know it's Wordless Weds, but reading about you, I'm compelled to write. I can't imagine facing what you're facing medically, but I was diagnosed (after years of being mis-diagnosed) w/fibromyalgia 19 yrs ago - just 6 mos after my 3 stepsons moved in full time.
To say I was OVERwhelmed is an UNDERstatement. I was so tired, weak, sore, which led to anger, guilt, frustration and sometimes hopelessness.
But we got thru it, one day at a time. They're grown(ish) now and I have a precious 2 yr old grandson. I still battle w/physical limitations, but it's just who I am.
For me, I found once I accepted myself, everyone around me did too.
I'm glad to meet you and hold you in my prayers. You'll get thru it - one day at a time.
