Hi Jeannette...thanks for the comment! Can you please help me? I am new to the blog world. I am the President/Founder of a non-profit foundation (www.cmvfoundation.org) and we are in a grant competition on FB sponsored by Chase. It ends in 4 days. My foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about the leading cause of childhood disability, CMV. Have you heard of it? Most women have not. I know I hadn't until my son was diagnosed with it at 3 1/2 weeks old. He is now severely disabled and medically fragile. My foundation needs to win this grant so we can air our PSA's on national TV across America to educate woman about CMV...a common virus and childhood illness, but if contracted while a woman is pregnant it can have devastating effects on the unborn baby! This is what happened to my son. This is what I am now on a mission to prevent from happening any more. Can you please help me get the word out and get everyone you know on Facebook to vote for us? It is a one time vote...20 seconds and done...but so very important to save babies yet to be born from CMV. Thank you in advance <3
