"where whimsical meets practical in the art of children's room design"
That's so great your grandparents live here! It is beautiful. I was just on a walk by the river and it is pretty amazing.
I read your story about your journey from Vancouver to where you are now. It's so interesting. We left Vancouver a year and a half ago. We couldn't afford to live there and the hum of the city was just too much for us.
So I left behind a thriving practice and we moved over here when our little one was only 3months. I would never recommend moving postpartum, it was a hard year. Anyways, our adjustment to living in a small town has certainly been interesting. I always have Victoria when I need a city fix. But most of the time I find that we have everything we need here. And now that Violet is almost 2, my practice is back up again and beginning to thrive. It's so interesting what can happen when you take a leap and open yourself to possibilities.
I did go see your site. It is beautiful!! Makes me wonder how you got that to look like that. I didn't know you could vary off of the templates. I would love to have a dark background of one of mine with an overlay.
