Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.

Well thank you!
They say red hair is getting more rare. It's getting more common in my family...my son and I are the only ones I know. We found others naturally but they are distant. I used to have red hair until he was born...those late nights took its toll:)
I remember a Trader Joes off the highway just north of Chicago (going toward Milwaukee) but we would see it only after passing the exit. Waukeegan perhaps? I think it was a little closer in than that.
Seems to me we could only see it in the winterish months when the leaves were off the trees. Had to return a corked bottle once, very easy return policy.
HAHAHA!! Your comment cracked me up. I got discouraged when we switched from old format to new blog format and changed counters...didn't realize we were counting each page hit as a unique visitor...yeah, BIG hit to the visitor count. But, it's still building and feeling encouraged to see people coming back. I just started taking it more public and promoting it. I'll wish us both lots of luck on that.
I've been looking for a good site-visitor map and caught your blip about feedjit. THANKS for that! I like it a lot and was pretty ticked off with my last two attempts to use one.
Thanks! I love MM. That quote is sooo true about me! lol...Gosh, they really knew how to dress back then, in those glamorous gowns with the up-swept doo's. :D Gotta love it. glitter-graphics.com
Good morning Nancy!
The day I screamed out for a margarita was just 'one of those days'. Geez! (I'm crossing my fingers that today is better.
My oldest is on the Autism spectrum and some days the rollercoaster goes off the tracks. You just have to hold on tight and look to the sky for hope.
So here we are. Another beautiful morning, and trying for the best.
And hey, about Sisters, OR. Yup, there are the 3 sisters mountains Faith, Hope and Charity. But I need to look into The Husband. (Google here I come!)
It's quite possible that Crater Lake was snowed in during a past August. Mother Natures wild like that.
However last July my husband had 2nd degree burns on his face from our afternoon visit! (Medication and lack of sunscreen can do that, the silly boy.)
Here's hoping that, for tonight, a nice glass of wine will suffice.
Cheers!
nancy,
its time to put that pencil down and start using mommybar...it is the toolbar i created for moms that have all the great blogs and sites. i can even add your blog to the mommybar! let me know if you want me to.
Hi Nancy! I am new to this site and am reaching out to other moms with this common mommy theme:
"I Can't Believe My Child Just Did That In Public!"
"The average adult laughs 15 times a day; the average child, more than 400 times." ~Martha Beck
Moms, it's time for us to help one another reclaim that laughter! Nine months in the womb but only nine seconds, and perfect timing, to mortify their moms in front of an audience. If all the world's a stage then these little ones are truly star performers!
I greatly look forward to your comments and shared experiences!

Give it a shot when you're in the area some time.

I have a business partner who is really into Feedburner and keeps telling me to get with the program...but I don't understand how to use it, either!
Add me as a friend - maybe he can give you some tips on how to get the most out of it :-)
