Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
I wanted to let you know that I am following you from MBC, "Under a 100 Followers" group. Also, I wanted to know if you would be interested in doing a link exchange with my sites and yours. Please let me know and leave a link to your website Also, it has been nice meeting you via the web.
LOL... hey Rebekah. Actually, only two in diapers (my 2yo son and 3yo son -- they seem MUCH slower about catching onto the potty training thing). I also have a 6yo daughter. My life is definitley hectic, but as a mom of three yourself I'm sure you already know that :) I am following your blog and look forward to learning more about you.
Thanks for asking about my children's book. It's a picture book for younger children, and I wrote it several years ago. I shelved it for awhile, and now I've decided (New Year's Resolution!) to revisit it and revise it. I also wrote a bunch of children's poems and short stories that I submitted to magazines like Highlights. Lots of rejection letters, but most of them were handwritten and encouraging so I'm trying not to give up!
Hi Rebekah! Just wanted to say hello and that I found you in the Under 100 Followers Group. I'm your newest follower. I'm an aspiring children's book writer, and I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts.
I now follow your blog. Too funny, my hubby and I are outnumbered too with three little ones under the age of 6. Our sons are 2yrs old and 2yrs old (they're Irish Twins, 10 months apart and both still in diapers... LOL) and our daughter is 5yrs old so we understand!
Hey girl! Thanks so much for the comment on my blog http://adventuresofa1sttimemommy.blogspot.com/. It does sound like we have a lot in common. I do have some questions about teaching college writing. I have a B.S. in elem. ed. and psych. and a M.Ed. in early childhood ed (although I have no idea why they called it that when 1/2 my classes were reading and none were early childhood--pre school). A reading endorsement and a gifted endorsement (after a year of classes). I wanted to find an online college or technical school job because that would be the best of both worlds with staying home. Plus, it wouldn't be as annoying as trying to schedule tutoring during her naps. But I think in the field of teaching Ed. you really need a doctorate, so I'm contemplating what I have to do to teach college or community college writing. Everyone needs a writing class, right?? What educational requirements do you have to have??
We live near Eugene. Where is your husband from? We used to live near Portland and did love it. It was a great city. Perfect size, enough to do etc. If you're originally from England you'll think nothing of the rain. Where at in England?
Parenting teens is hard enough, but parenting a troubled teen can feel impossible. Most parents simply don’t have the training in psychotherapy techniques, communication skills, and mentoring necessary to guide a teen through the troubled years of adolescence, especially when that teen is also struggling with mental…
