Thanks for the welcome! I've actually been here a while; unfortunately, Ning appears to have eaten my first account (it still exists here, but I can't access it). :-)

We have a few Angus as well. Some of our cows are registered but the rest we try to breed back to Angus bulls to keep them black. We do have a few white face mixed in because a neighbor had some great brood cows that we couldn't for the price and they throw really nice calves. We raise Jerseys for our milk. We are currently milking 5 for our own use. We also sell some raw milk. Percentage Boer goats dominate the place. We raise them for meat. The girls have 2 milking goats. There are rabbits, 3 pigs, chickens, 2 llamas and turkeys during the summers.

Hi Annette,

Sorry, just saw this. Yes, twins are quite a handful. Especially b/c there is an "older" one who also needs me. I'm figuring it will get easier in about 20 years. . .

Hi Annette! I could tell by your comment you were from down under! I can just hear your voice and I love it! Thank you for the welcome and feel free to visit and comment on my blog! I make jewelry too in my spare time which is rare! I have an 11 yr old girl, 8 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl, so I hear you with the kids!

My boy/girl twins just made a year a couple weeks ago. They were born on Leap Day! Life on a farm in Australia must be exciting!
