Do Moms Give Dads Enough Credit?

I was grocery shopping today and had the luxury of shopping by myself. While shopping, I saw a dad have a bad parent moment. The dad was on a mission to take his son to the bathroom. While lifting him out of the cart he smacked his son's head on a low door jam. As the dad comforted his son, the parental guilt was all over his face. Instantly, I felt a connection with the dad. Emotions of a Traveling Mom on Day 5

I'm sitting in a hotel room in Vegas and will soon be headed to the airport for my return flight. This morning is day 5 away from home. Five days! I was OK until day 3, but at this point I've lost whatever work-related focus I had. My sole focus is getting home and seeing my husband and kids. At this point I'm cursing the impulse that had me suggest this conference to my boss.
