Proud Mama

I had to share my proud mama moment!! I love all my children and I have 5 of them so that's a lot of lovin' going around... But today I want to brag about my oldest son. His name is Skylar and he is 14. Sounds pretty normal so far but he is truly an amazing individual. He is a Christian and truly loves the Lord and is evident in all that he does. Clean House With 5 Kids?

Sometimes I wonder how I manage to keep a clean house with 5 children and 3 dogs!! First off, I'll be the first to let you know that it is not easy but it is possible with some patience and organizational skills. There are times when I go on a rampage and want everything spotless! Home Economics Day

Remember when we could take cooking and sewing classes at school? Or am I dating myself? Well, nonetheless, those classes were lumped together into a subject called Home Economics.. Rebellious Teens

Wow!! That's all I can say about the rebellious teens of today!! Now I am not blind to the fact that we all were teens at one time and were rebellious as well, but it seems that today's teens are out of control. I attribute a lot of the changes to the media and today's society and culture. When growing up, no one ever interfered with my parent's skills of discipline.
