Nice to meet you!
Hi, I'm Summer, a 26 year old mom of three. Count Dooku is 6, Obi Wan is 5 and Angel Girl is 1. I've been married to Hubby for 7+ years now and still loving it. I've been blogging for just over a year at Summer's Nook and I'm enjoying it more all the time. Shortly after joining the blogging world I found an interest in blog design, taught myself the necessary skills to design Blogger.com blogs and opened up shop at Blog Designs by Summer. I love the creativity and fun it affords me!
I also have many other interests. I crochet, play the piano, love to read and write, am a cake decorator, love to bake in general, scrapbook, am an avid genealogist (have been for 11+ years), enjoy all things outdoors, love to watch and play sports and enjoy playing video games, especially on my old school SNES. I'm very fitful if I'm not learning something new on a regular basis.
I also have many other interests. Breast is Best
If you’re a mom, you have more than likely heard the above statement.
And as a mom you’ve made a choice, to either breastfeed/ebf or formula feed. Now granted, I believe breastmilk is the best food for baby. It’s how God engineered feeding to be. He created boobs, not formula, BUT I don’t believe this makes formula a wrong choice.

The not so nice Mama
“Go and play your video game,” says Nice Mama to her sons. “I’m going to clean your room for you today.”
“Oh cool! Thanks,” says one son, giving mama a hug, “You’re a nice Mama.”
What he doesn’t realize is that Nice Mama, is really, Mama with Ulterior Motive, in disguise. She smiles as she sends them on their merry way, 13 gallon trash bag clenched in the fist behind her back. She walks backwards down the hall, into their bedroom and bolts the door.

Mommy Brain
The Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of Mommy Brain announced its latest guidelines just yesterday, stating that “Not all Mommy Brain, is the same.”

Misconception
I walked into the room with my chin tilted down trying to steal an inconspicuous glance at my stomach. Sucked in? Check. The room was abuzz with chatter, broken momentarily by smiles and greetings directed at me.
