Is there a method to your madness?

As a blogger many times the things we blog about are sooo well random. Is yours or do you have a method behind your madness? Are you on a mission to help others, do you have the purpose of emptying your feelings onto the computer screen, so blogging to you may be therapy, or are you trying to make money? There are hundreds of reasons why we may blog....what is yours??

My blog is somewhat of a scrapbook. I don't do a hard copy scrapbook but this serves that purpose nicely. It allows far away friends and relatives to see what we are up to.

I found that not only the events I am posting on my blog, but blogging itself is a creative outlet.

Have you seen the site blurb.com? They'll "slurp" your blog (I love that term) and turn it into a hard copy book. Looks interesting.

I've been planning to do a whole post on why I started mine, because there are several reasons. In a nutshell though, I'm in the family scrapbook category. There are so many funny small things that happen every day I wanted to start capturing them. That other people read it is just icing on the cake.

Slurp your blog???

Well I sure would love to have mine written into a book. How cool would that be?? I am not sure at what point I'd want to do this. My original blog was on Yahoo 360 I have spent some time transferring those post to my current blog at http://lifefrommylaptop.com but I haven't finished this, so I know for sure I"d want to finish before I could truly have it "slurped" as you say. Then I guess I would need to decide how much I would want in one book. This would be a cool thing to purchase for yourself yearly or so?? What do you think?
