Did you use a generic template? Have someone custom design it? How did you decide on your design?? I have a freebie template right now but really want something my own! Most blogs I've visited don't list the designer anywhere so I'm wondering if all you people with these great blogs are talented in the designing aspect too??? If so....pffftttt! lol
I used a free template from www.bloggerbuster.com (the Super Custom one) and then I super customized it. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks, only want a few tweaks!
I had a free template for a long time, but wanted my "own" for a long time. I stumbled on Judith Shakes and that was that. She is awesome. I know she is booked for awhile, but I think she might be opening up this month - check her site. http://www.judithshakesdesigns.com/
I'm using the Minima template that comes with blogger & learned how to "spruce" it up from Blogger Buster. I learned how to go from 2 to 3 columns. I've searched all over for a template I would like & haven't found anything. I wish I was talented enough to make my own. ;o)
Mine's temporarily just a blogger template that I personalized a little.
My hubby is a web developer and designer and while I'm not a graphic designer, I have a fairly good eye for it. So in the past we have corroborated and he designs whatever is in my head. :) It work well. My current blog is way overdue for a new design but he's soooo busy with work. Sometime soon though I hope.
I make my own headers and then adjust the colors to match. I use Photoshop and free digiscrap found online. I've changed my header about 12 times since I started in March...i'm OCD like that.
