Any moms of tweens out there?

Do you have kids between the ages of 9 and 12? I am looking to start a group for us! There are so many discussion boards for moms with littles, totally neglecting those of us with older kids. We have fun, yes, but we also have issues as well. Why not let our discussions now help the moms of littles when their kids aren't so little anymore? If you have tweens, let's talk, message me here on MBC or reply back to this discussion.

I'm in. My DD is 11 and I know what you mean about not having many resources to bounce ideas off of.

I have a 12 year old boy in the 7th Grade....and a 9 year old (soon to be 10) in the 5th Grade. I'm Blessed in that they're good boys and make my job as a parent pretty easy. This is great! I am thinking we can start a tween group right here on MBC and branch out to come up with a group resource on other social media outlets. Let me know if you have any other ideas. More to come...

Would love to have each of you join the new group Moms of Tweens. There was group created for this a while back but the creator stopped posting. If you're like me, you have questions or need advice to raising a tween or you may just need to vent. Whichever reason, I want us to great some great dialogue that can help those with babies and toddlers when they reach this tween stage.
