Balancing Act!

I have a ? for you ladies, especially for the ones who have jobs outside the home.

When do you guys have time to put so much energy into your blogs( businesses)
If you have husbands and kids(possibly jobs) to look after?

Now I have all 3 and I hardly ever have time to do anything in the way of having
nice blogs or anything else with nice content like most of you guys. How do you
do it? What's your secret? Inquiring minds want to know. Any help on this matter
would be appreciated. Sorry didn't mean to write novel lol. Just curious is all.

This is pretty much my whole focus (thus the title of my blog "The Balance Beam" - LOL!) As moms, we have so much to juggle... kids, home, husband, money issues... and many also add work and school to the mix. And blogging!

What I've found is that the hardest part isn't "doing it all"... The reality is that if we're efficient, organized, energetic and healthy, we have a LOT more capacity than we think we do.

The hardest part is mental. It's internal, not external.

So for me, the "secret" is really making sure that I take good care of myself. That my core is healthy - physically, mentally emotionall, spiritually. That gives me the foundation and confidence to do as much (or as little) as I want to do. Increased confidence brings increased capacity.

This includes having increased confidence in others, i.e. my spouse. It means not controlling every little thing, letting go sometimes, prioritizing and picking my battles. (I now let my baseboards get dusty -- don't tell anyone! LOL!)

Anyway, check out my blog sometimes and as I start to do more "live" workshops, I'll let everyone know that too!
