Over the past ten years, I have been in a succession of high-pressure jobs increasing in responsibility. I worked long hours, consistently wearing myself down.

The upside of the recession for me is that I got laid off and had to slow down. And, You know what - I LIKE IT! :D But, slowing down didn't happen over night...

When I got laid off, I turned to my computer immediately and started online marketing of one kind or another. I did it with the same 'charging full speed ahead' as I had been doing on the 8 to 5 J-O-B. It became an obsession without very much productivity actually taking place. I was running around in 'cyber circles', putting in a lot of effort and seeing little results.

However, little by little, bit by bit, I started slowing down as I gained new experience and learned new techniques. I explored new online business and made built some good relationships with 'cyber friends' along the way. I read other peoples' blogs and have purchased some books.

But, the biggest paradigm shift for me what when I finally got it - I finally understand the value of Balance and a little bit about more what it actually feels like. It's great to give, but it has to be balanced. Sometimes, I have to ask others for help.

Sometimes, I have to say no to yet another great offer when my plate is full. Am I balanced every day? Heavens no! For me, it is a journey - not a destination. However, the awareness is leading me forward each day into a new paradigm of balanced living.

We, who spend a great deal of our time working on the internet are pioneers in a new way of doing business and as a result are able to live our lives in a style different from years past. I should like to acknowledge the many new and uplifting choices that are available to us in these modern times with the use of the World Wide Web.

It is my intent to reflect this holistic resource approach in my social networking efforts. I intend to provide the full spectrum of resources for our lives and style of living for Virtual Assistants, Lifestyle Mangers, Social Networkers and Online Marketers.

The categories I am researching and presenting in my social network and blog are as follows:

1. Virtual Assistance Resources
2. Lifestyle Manager Resources
3. Marketing Tips
4. Social Media Strategies
5. Spiritual Resources
6. Online Shopping and Coupons
7. Wellness, Health and Anti-Aging

I am open to feedback and suggestions from anyone who is interested as these developments unfold. My members and followers can tell you that I really do take other people’s perceptions seriously and often incorporate them into my work and creations.

Warmly,
Susan Daniels, Creator and Chief Possibility Officer
